HrThroo takes the first read of every CV, the first phone call and the first interview, and gives your recruiters the evidence to decide fast. It is made by Brandstac in New Delhi.
What it does
- Screens CVs against criteria you approve. For every criterion it quotes the part of the CV that meets it, and says so when the CV doesn't back a claim up. See How screening evidence works.
- Phones candidates from your own number in English or an Indian language, only if they agreed, between 10:00 and 19:00 India time. See AI phone screens.
- Runs first-round video interviews through a one-time browser link, judged only on what the candidate said. See AI video interviews.
- Sends clients a shortlist link that expires, can be revoked and shows when it was opened. See Client shortlist links.
- Emails candidates from your own mailbox — Gmail, Zoho or any SMTP account — never from an HrThroo address.
What it never does
The AI never rejects anyone. Every screening, call and interview ends in your review queue with a recommendation; only a person moves a candidate to Rejected, Sent to client, Offered or Hired. Criteria and questions can't use age, gender, religion or caste, marital or family status, health or disability, appearance or photos, nationality or origin, or inferred personality. There is no facial, emotion or appearance scoring.
