Create a job and approve its criteria

Paste the job description, let the AI suggest must-have and nice-to-have criteria, edit them, and approve. Nothing is screened until you approve.

  1. On Jobs, create a job: the title, the client (the company you're hiring for), the location, the language for calls and interviews, and the job description.
  2. Open the job's Criteria tab and choose Suggest with AI. It proposes must-have and nice-to-have criteria, and screening questions for phone screens and interviews.
  3. Edit, add or remove any of them. At least one must-have is required.
  4. Approve. New CVs are then screened as they arrive.

Until you approve, CVs added to the job wait, marked as waiting for criteria approval, and no CV screening is used.

Languages for calls and interviews

English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali or Gujarati. The AI speaks this language on the job's phone screens and video interviews.

What can't be a criterion

Age, gender, religion or caste, marital or family status, health or disability, appearance or photos, nationality or origin, and inferred personality. HrThroo refuses these in criteria and questions, and the AI never asks about them.

Changing criteria later

Approving a change screens the CVs that are waiting. Candidates already screened keep their result until you re-screen them from their page; screening against changed criteria uses a CV screening.
